Auto Gen feature disappeared? SOLVED!

I have a 10k Onan genset with the Energy Command 30 control panel in my 2009 American Tradition. I recently replaced the house batteries and shortly after that I have notice the auto gen function on my energy command 30 in gone. If I press the auto gen button the panel displays "Ignition On & Off".

I would like to get my auto gen feature back so if you have had this happen to you and have the solution please let me know.

Turns out there is a fuse called "BCC Ignition". While looking for a blown fuse for the light over my kitchen table I found this fuse to be blown. I immediately knew this was my issue when I saw the word ignition. I replaced the fuse, nothing, then turned the key on and off and the autogen feature is alive and well. Thanks to all that contributed.

I would turn the ignition on then off to see if it would reset the safety circuit in the EC30.

Your panel monitor s the coach and chassis batterys what does it show???

1st battery reading = "ENGINE BAT 13.2"
2nd reading = "BAT 13.0 MANUAL"
3rd reading = "BatE##F MANUAL"

Manual says there is a 5 amp fuse which should be located as close to the batteries as possible. I cannot find it, but I cant imagine its not there so I am going to have to remove the batteries it seems.

I would suspect this is the cause. MOST Auto Genset systems require a input of time. If the batteries were disconnected for a length of time, the flash memory of your Command 30 probably lost its memory of the time. Doug

You left a wire off of the batteries -

I have had my head in the battery bay a bunch of times thinking that is what happened. But I cannot find a unconnected wire. When I changed the batteries I made a detailed list of all wires and numbered them on my list and on the wire so I would not miss any.
At this point however I am not opposed to removing the batteries and doing the install again.....I guess.
