Anyone tried one of these? Looks like a great idea for those of us without a wall thermostat. Shuts down the fan with the compressor. Don't have to listen to the fan all night after it cools down. ...
I doubt that it is accurate to within one degree. However, on a typical 80/60 degree day/night situation, it should shut off sometime in the middle of the night and stay off until morning. I think that it would emulate the "Auto" setting on units with a wall thermostat, even if not as sensitive.
