Battery / breaker issue

I have a one year old class A Thor Outlaw. I had it plugged in all winter. This summer the chassis battery is fine but the house batteries were bad! I replaced both House batteries with good new marine ones. When I reset the breaker on the battery terminal on the wall of the battery compartment the chassis battery instantly begins to boil and the breaker trips again. Could this be a bad isolator?
  • I just had a WFCO 8955 putting out 21 volts. Fried the battery pretty well. There are two 2 amp resistors that got hot and came unsoldered.
  • What is the house battery and charger voltage? Have the chassis battery load tested.
  • First thing to check is the house battery configuration, be sure they are connected in parallel. Almost sounds like you are pumping 24v into your chassis battery.
