Battery Disconnect Question

I will be putting my fifth wheel trailer in storage for five weeks. Currently, the battery is fully charged. No shore power available at storage site.. All on-board systems will be powered off.

Question:

Should I disconnect the battery?

Thanks for your help.
  • adding a battery disconnect switch is so simple and cheap to do.
no need to schlep the battery back and forth or fool with the taking the cable off.

Or add a Solar Charging System!

what draw do those parasitic loads have and can they be offset by a small, lay on the dash panel?
    bumpy
  • Yes, adding a disconnect switch is a worthwhile upgrade for the future...
  • There is stuff in the trailer that won't shut off, disconnect the battery.
