That looks like an over 90 degree turn that done that damage. If you look close even the plastic glide blocks and slide rails are messed up. The block on the capture plate may have sheared off. I would cry if that was mine.....well I would probably curse... huff...puff then cry! I expect nearly the whole hitch is toast and will be expensive to fix.
