Black tank flusher

I have a built in black tank flusher that has quit working . What I suspect is that the built in back flow preventer is stuck closed. However I'm not sure where to start looking for it. Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.
  • Mine had the backflow preventer/vacuum breaker go bad. Replaced the unit and still could not flush the tank. Found the nozzle mounted in the tank with three screws. With an empty tank, removed the nozzle - it was full of dissolved TP and other stuff. Cleaned it and drilled the spray holes larger. Problem solved for the past three years. JM2¢...
  • Locate the area inside directly opposite flusher hook up. Then follow line.

Mine is behind the kitchen cabinet..have to remove drawers, stand on my head and hold my tongue just right to reach it.
Don't know what I'd have to do to actually work on it....guess train a monkey and stuff it in the drawer cabinet :B
  • Look just inside the connection point where you hook up the hose when you flush. That's where mine is. I can access it inside the cabinet under the bathroom sink.
