About a month ago, I emailed BB at their Hopkins factory in Emporia, KS, as I would be traveling and would like my BB checked and power cord repaired.
As instructed, I called them the day before and made an appointment for 10:00 am.
Chris the BB Tech, met me in the lobby, took the BB and said it would be ready in about an hour.
An hour later, Chris returned the BB with a new power cord, cleaned and tested. Test results indicated it worked as intended. He also gave me a 12 volt socket with fuse to run from the battery to ensure proper voltage. He indicated they were providing them to customers free of charge.
I also requested a new brake-away switch as I purchased a new vehicle. Chris brought one out, and indicated NO CHARGE! Chris also replaced the foam handle backing.
I was willing and offered to pay for the service and repair as the BB is 5 years old. Chris said, not necessary.
I originally purchased the BB because of Hopkins reputation for customer service.
Confirmed, it was an excellent choice. I really enjoy doing business with great companies.
