Cable connections weird
My Open Range has 3 exterior connections for cable. Two on the back, labeled "Cable" and "Sat" (secondary cable connection), and one by the door labeled "Cable", with A/C plugs next to it. Hooking up the campground cable to either of the rear connections doesn't produce a signal at the TV. If you plug into the connector by the door, you get signal at the TV, which seems backwards to me. I thought the connector by the door was for an outdoor TV. There is a blocked compartment with the water pump behind it. I asked the dealer about it, and he didn't have a clue. He said that they would probably have to tear out the interior of the trailer to find and change any connections. There is a cable wiring diagram available from Open Range that shows a splitter to manage these cable connections. There is also a connection above the refrigerator for a satelite/cable box with two connectors shorted together. The wall it's on is next to the microwave. I could pull the microwave and see what's in there. But I thought I would ask here first.
My question: Anybody know where this splitter is hiding? I would hope it is behind a panel somewhere, and not just stuffed between rafters in the roof or under the floor. Thanks.
