Can I use Pro-Flex under screw heads?

Hi rv-ers,
On side corner seams I am using Pro-Flex caulking on the edges of the metal trim pieces where it meets the walls. What about the screws? Several are loose and show signs of slight water intrusion. Can I back out the screws, add a dollop of Pro-Flex to the hole, and reinsert the screws? I also plan to use Pro-Flex over the screw heads too.

I don't know if Pro-Flex is the ideal caulk for the purpose but would prefer to use it if it is workable rather than track down yet another specialty product.

    That's what I ended up doing too. After the screw was tightened down I then covered the head with pro-flex too, which I smoothed nicely with a paint-thinner moistened finger.
    We'll see how it lasts. I think it should be quite durable.

    I pulled out each screw on the top gutters put a blob of proflex on and screwed the back in. No more leaks from there now.

    True. More than strong enough for the job I think though

    I won't be using any silicone anywhere near my trailer. It messes up adhesion of the other products I use, like Dicor and Pro-Flex. Too risky as I'm sure I wouldn't be able to keep it just under the screws.

    I just put a little silicon caulk on the threads. This helps secure the screw and prevents rusting of the sheet material.

    Sure tou can. I only tried that once and it was terrible to work with. Much prefer Dicor.
