CO2 Detector

So, I've got a 2008 Tioga. It has a hard wired CO2 detector. About a year ago, it started beeping for no reason. I found, it only has a life of about 6 years. Bought a new one. Now the new one beeps constantly. Changed the battery. Still beeps. This is an original equipment replacement. Any thoughts?
  • Could it be that there is some Carbon Monoxide actually getting into the coach?
  • It's hardwired AND has a battery ??

If hardwired.....how is trailers battery voltage. Low voltage will cause them to beep.
    Battery back up......bad battery

Did you notice 'expiration' date on replacement....?
Could be dirty sensor.....dust/various sprays etc. can foul sensor

No it doesn't, it has a CO detector ... big difference. ;) Beeping would indicate the source voltage has fallen below threshold so if your new CO detector is doing the same you'd want to dig out a DVM and start measuring to find out what's going on.
