Converter question. PD 4655 Vs. Powermax boondocker

My PD4655 went out last night and it is still under warranty. I called Bestconverter to get it replaced, and the tech Randy is suggesting the Powermax boondocker as a replacement. I notice the PD4655 retails at 205$ and the Powermax Boondocker at about 160$. I know higher prices isn't always better quality, so i want some advice on weather to stick with the PD or go with the PM. Thx

The Boondocker also is a 4 stage charger-4th stage is pulse desulfation/maintenance mode.

I believe the Boondocker has a longer 3 yr warranty.

Thanks for the replies. This camper stays plugged in on my property, and is used for a live in camper. I don't even have a battery installed. So it charging isn't an issue for me.

Either is fine depending on usage and expectations.
For mostly plugged in they are both the same.
For fast charging from a generator the Boondocker will drop out of boost at about 75% charged where the 4655 should hold boost four hours and get you to ~90%.
