dimensions yamaha 3000 inverter generator battery

Hi Matt,

The battery is not totally dead--but it only goes "click" when I turn the key. I solved the issue on the trip back north by getting a "jump pack".

The last Walmart I stopped at had a battery whose dimensions fit the Yamaha.

Did you run your generator without the battery for any length of time, and did it cause any trouble if you did? I've got the same generator with a bad battery and trying to determine if it's OK (won't cause damage) to run without it.
