Dometic 3804 Not Cold On Gas

I have a 1991 Dometic 3804 fridge that is not cold on gas. It'sfine when plugged in, but after 2 days on gas, the fridge begins to meltdown, then I can plug it back in and it will chill properly again. Now I know its 24 years old, time to replace, yeah, yeah, but basic skills tells me the cooling is working and the coils on the backside of the fridge look like new. The flue is clean and the flame never goes out. Any ideas?
  • Insufficient cooling on gas.......OK on electric

    11" gas pressure
Clean burner slots......flame directly under flue opening
Clean flue & baffle.flue cap in place
Baffle correct position----1 3/4" from burner to bottom of baffle

Flame not going out is because temp never reaches set point
You know cooling unit is OK cause it cools down properly with electric element same for t-stat

Clean up burner components.....especially orifice, burner slots and baffle and check the gas pressure 11" WC with 50% of other propane appliances in use and no more than 12" WC w/o any in service... TEST port right at gas valve
