Dometic Awning Part Numbers and Changing out Arms
For some reason when our Coachmen was built they put "basement" hardware (part number 8951001.400B) on. This means we don't have the ability to adjust for rain and the angle drops so much the door raises the awning when opening. I've had an awning that touched the door before but not like this.
So according to the original paperwork part number 8951002.400B would have been a standard hardware set.
Changing to a standard set would mean the awning would sit higher at the roller when extended and would cause the awning to sit at a higher angle and give the door more clearance.
But it seems that all I find is 8952002.400B and 8952002.400B1
Does anyone know what the 4th digit indicates or what the "1" suffix means?
