Dometic fridge

Hi, I have an older Kustom Koach with a Dometic RM 2601 fridge that is not cooling. The propane burner lights well and the 120v heater operates. The temperature control will turn it off or on.
There is a gurgling sound in the pipes when either is turned on. I removed the unit and turned it on it’s side then on its top several times, let it sit for a while. Still no cooling. There is no evidence of any leakage, but does this sound like it still may be a lack of refrigerant in the system or is there something else to check.

Obstructions/blockages occur over a long time frame....sodium chromate turns to crystals when overheated. It then plates out on the inside of tubes which causes more restriction to flow, more overheating, more crystals, more plating out....accumulative until DEATH and the crystals are permanent. They do NOT go back into solution, They do NOT disappear, no away.

All the flipping, bouncing, vibrating, laying on sides, upside down etc will NOT change it.....might dislodge a bit and allow some increased flow but that is just a band-aid attempt at stopping the hemorrhage.
Might seem OK for awhile but will stop working and usually at the most inconvenient time

Thanks, fellow travellers, all the power, 120v, 12v, and gas heat the boiler and the tubes get warm and make noise. I am going to try turning it on its top again, and leave it there for a full day, turn it back up for another full day. If that doesn’t work then I know it is done. The frustrating part is it ran fine about a month ago with no change to location of the trailer.

I would start by testing the thermostat. Turn the system to 120 volt AC. Test to see if the 120 volt element is getting power.

sounds like its toast, BUT they can be rebuilt place is in INdiana.somebody will have the name.
