Short answer... yes. Long answer... yes ;). I don't know why the people they have hired to answer the phones have not been informed properly, but replacing the boiler would be a huge task- remove the refrigerator, drain the ammonia, cut the boiler tube out (which is not easy as there are tube within tubes there), weld in a new boiler tube, recharge and test.
It just ain't gonna happen.
