Hi Claude, wow! that assembly looks very close to the vent when compared to the fridge assembly in mine. It's sort of looking like the engineers didn't study this one enough either. It's good you pointed that out as there most likely others where the vent will be partially blocked. I can't see that as being a good thing.
Nice job with the dimmer switch, thanks for posting the information. I guess I'd better try mine to make sure it's cooling properly.
