Anybody else have one of these?
EH1 Emerson hot water dispenser
I'm getting ready to winterize and I have always wondered if there was a way to drain this hot water tank.
I usually put about 2 gal of RV pink stuff in the system. I had thought about just blowing out the lines and tank with compressed air.
Is there a better way or just stick with the RV antifreeze.

This is most likely the wrong place to ask but any thoughts on using the unit.
Whether you use it much or like it. Or what temps have you tried?
I turned it up alittle and it made coffee so HOT you couldn't drink it. WOW HOT. OK to hot got to turn it down.
What else it this thing good for.
Just coffee and instant soup? Hot chocolate. Is there any recipe sites.
I looked I found a few but not much.
p.s. that manual site was awesome...TY

Per manual:

Anytime the instant hot water dispenser is not used for extended periods of time, unplug and drain unit.

If it is below freezing you will need to unplug the
unit and drain it.

*Disconnect power from unit.

*Push hot water dispenser faucet lever and allow water to flow until it is cool.

*Shut the cold water flow off at the shut off valve.

*Remove unit from sink and turn upside down to drain

That is from this manual.........pg.11

BUT opening lever while you have low point drain open should allow for tank to drain out completely.
Is it time for your medication or mine?

Those tank heaters are filled from the bottom and all you have to do is blow out with compressed air. That will remove all water from the system and tank. Doug
