See the curved cutter edge? It cuts 8 gauge wire as easily as a forty dollar pair of Wi-Ha diagonal cutting pliers.

And it does not pinch or squash like regular dykes do. No elliptical shaped copper and insulation. The tool is handy enough to use on 22 gauge wire. Skilled hands allow it to cut and strip. I have cut 4 AWG but that's a bit much.

I've owned my pair for 17 years. The fact the stainless steel edges remain sharp is an eye-opener.
