FF in bedroom just quit working yesterday.
Fooled around with control knobs, fuse holder.. nothing. Went up on roof and took apart switch that's actuated when you open the vent. Nothing. Difficult to verify power as the negative doesn't provide a place to test.
Then, suddenly, today I wiggled the fuse and voila, fired right up. I'd wiggled it several times before with no luck. Buttoned 'er all up and it's running.
I'm not sure if it was simply the fuse or the switch.. but it's working. Nice when you don't have big repair/replace jobs. I wasn't looking forward to digging up all that caulk.
