Carbon foam AGM

Makes claims about resistance to sulfation in partial state of charge cycling.
http://fireflyenergy.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/12VG31-brochure.pdf

One guy claims to have left them at 38% state of charge for nine months and then after a recharge and a capacity test, revealed they had not lost any capacity.

Never tell a fishing lie somewhere where others know the fish...

The guy who invented the 3,000 MPG carburetor was

Murdered
Bought Out
Threatened
Thrown in a loonie bin
Arrested for failure to pay alimony
Dissolved by leprosy
Lost all memory when he stuck his finger in a light socket
Lost a duel to a guy who claimed his carburetor gets 3,500

Carbon fiber, titanium, Spectra, Palladium, Polonium, Popcorn, all are buzzwords.

I ha a friend who got argumentative when anybody challenged his bragging that his new '86 Chevy 3/4 ton 4X4 got 20 MPG. When I rode in it the vehicle had

Low tires
A headwind
Cargo (A spare)
Needed a tune-up
High elevation (500 ft)
Dirty oil
And the all-time king! BAD GASOLINE!

They say "More than 4 times cycle life compared to Flooded...

Then farther down the page they say it should last 5-10 years in RV use

My Interstate U-2200s mad it 9 years 7-10 is considered normal for flooded.

It would seem the advertising claim is contradicted by the specifications section.
