Flat mounted solar panel on RV roof
All I can find are discussions about solar panel tilt with respect to the sun. What about with respect to water runoff? Is that an issue? Or can you just mount them flat? Previous two panels f...

mine are flat on the roof
and every month or so i climb up there and wash them off
just don't get enough rain to keep them clean
marine layer, or sprinkles, just makes the dust stick
if i was starting new, i would probably pitch them slightly, 2" bracket on the outside edge, and 4" bracket on the inside edge
it would have very little effect on the daily output, but would keep them cleaner, and cooler, which would increase avg out put
