Fridge Fan (rear) help.

Hello all..

I have a 2018 Genesis 32CR Toy Hauler.

The fan on the back of my fridge is loud. So loud you can hear it from the bedroom and the better half has bat ears so it's gonna get replaced.
I'd like to replace it with a higher volume fan, possibly a computer fan.

My fridge does not have access from the outside.
For these fridges, am I able to pull the fridge out and disconnect the gas and electric?
Or does that need to be done from the access hole on the bottom of the toy hauler?

Also, has anyone replaced the rear fan? Which fan did you use?

Thanks in advance.

Thx Doug. Only thing is that I don't have an outside. Only a small vertical soffit area that runs from the roof down to the floor. There is a small opening underneath.
  • This was the result. Used two aluminum bars to mount them, used the original thermostat, left the two old noisy fans disconnected but in place. These move enough air any obstructions are meaningless.

  • I put two of these behind the top fridge vent. I wired them in series to slow and quiet them down. We had been camping in the Southwest a lot a couple years ago and I was wanting to move more air. Work beyond my expectation, the fridge stayed cold in 100+ degree days.
