Furnace AC problem

Question

The last couple of days, the AC heat strip goes on when I turn on the furnace. When the furnace heats up my 5th wheel, it shuts off but the AC will not shut off until I turn off the unit.What's wrong?

LadyRVer is asking you about the fan setting on the thermostat.

Both the furnace and AC fans may be controlled by a thermostat or two thermostats.

But since you didn't give any model or back ground info, it's only wild guessing.
