Today I do not know where they are made.. That would be my only concern. But I would not recommend against them unless "Made in China" appears.
I have a Generac 6437 that I bought here a few months ago. I was given a 2-year warranty on my generator, and I'm satisfied. It is powerful, it is enough for the whole house, the generator is running without interruption. And nowhere is it written that it is "made in China"
