Took 2 days to charge and desulfate that one, but all went happily without incident.

Now, what do I do about battery A? This is the one that was 12.78 pre-charging, but got scary hot so it did not get much juice before I unhooked it.

Mex said let it sit for a week and then see what it reads, may be a bad cell. It is at 12.80. What does that tell me?
