- MrWizardModeratorA little A frame aluminum ladder is handy
But I got rid of aka sold a big heavy multi purpose folding scaffold type ladder
I really like my telescopic ladder - rjsurferExplorerI prefer the traditional "A" frame ladders there are times when you need to be able get height without leaning on something . For example working on the awning.

The day you get an 8' ladder, you will need at least a 9. lol The 12' is only 25 lb's I think it said. Your 10' is 22 lbs. I imagine an 8' would only be 19 lbs....6 lbs difference, not much to write home about. - BumpyroadExplorer

That looks identical to my "Extend-A-Step" I bought in 2012 for a similar price, I think it was $102 with taxes and shipping
I've been very happy with it
No Problems and nothing broken
JUST KEEP YOUR FINGERS...out of the way when pushing the tabs to close the ladder
