Help!! I am Stumped with Honda 2000 Gen Carb

Honda 2000 gen ran great until a couple of trips ago. Then had to run choked to keep it running. Cleaning up the carb today. I can't remember, and I can't find a definitive answer on the WWW, ( thanks alot Google) but which way does the emulsion tube reenter the carb? One end is flanged, the other not. Which end goes in first?

Thanks for any help. My project is stopped!!

A lot of forums were messed up by Photobucket’s policy change. The original poster of the generator thread probably hasn’t looked at it in years. It looks like it was a great post. It would be nice if he could fix it.
