Powerhorse, NOT Powerhouse.
They might actually be made by the same company, but that is two different brand names.

How clean is the power from these little gennys? Would they work for a dvd player and a small tv without burning something up in the circuitry?

Isn't the HF genny a 2-Stroke?

Clearly, that says this generator is not even close to providing the same continuous surge or inrush current of the Honda EU2000i. The EU2000i is capable of providing 2000 watts for 30 minutes, plus, although not officially rated, it's also capable of producing very significant inrush current.MEXICOWANDERER wrote:Must be this one. Sound level 52db--very competitive (probably at 25% load; EU2000i is 53db at 25% load). It's parallel capable. Also has "copper wound heads". If the power output, to include inrush current, is competitive with the EU2000i, we may have ourselves a real winner for $599.
. . .
NORTHERN TOOL has a sale going on for an INVERTER GENERATOR. Customer reviews claim it is a clone to the Honda, just as quiet, <2% harmonic distortion, started on the first 1-3 pulls yadda yadda.
