Thats right. Hmmmmmmmmmmmm. What causes the hum in the transfer switch? Been living with it for quite some time. Any ideas before I take the cover off & start poking around?

Lucky me, the switch is in an easily reachable place. Will open it up next time off shore power & have a look. Could be as simple as a loose screw inside I hope.
