Thats right. Hmmmmmmmmmmmm. What causes the hum in the transfer switch? Been living with it for quite some time. Any ideas before I take the cover off & start poking around?

Mine hummed when I accidentally hooked my trailer up to 240 volt outlet. Stroy here. It has hummed ever since. I have even taken it apart and it still hums.
