Honeywell thermostat connections for 1997 Bounder

Hi, I have installed a Honeywell thermostat, but when I turn the heat on, both the a/c and heat come on. The a/c seems to work fine when I turn it on. Can anyone help with a proper wiring diagram?also, how do I add a picture to this post?
The model # on the t-stat is RTH221B1047. The closest one on the Honeywell site is the RTH2510B1000. They are pretty much identical.

    IS Fan control in AUTO??

    IF that is not the issue then you need to post the Brand/model of:
    A/C Unit
    Furnace
    Honeywell T-stat Model
    AND WHAT was the old t-stat?????????????
