Not meaning this to become a ------- contest I am curious how this compares to larger solar system off-grid rigs? I used neither a space heater or A/C. Gas stove, compressor 16 CF refrigerator, and 1,100 watt microwave, toaster, crock pot, griddle, and heating coil to boil water even for shower.
My 500W doesn't qualify as large - these days - and in KWH it comes to 0.6 KWH daily. I'm not using microwave. Don't carry other 120V kitchen appliances like toaster or crock pot since don't use them at home either (for the sake of honesty, electric range at home TAD eliminates the crock). Water/heat/fridge are propane.
Don't feel like watching TV shows when I'm out there - they seem too stupid and irrelevant to surroundings. It takes time getting used to TV again, upon return. Talked to other people - many experienced the same, with TV.
I guess the higher numbers (than yours) would reflect a different family composition and the fact that people use what is available.
Doesn't Mexican CFE charge minimum monthly fee ~$3 US on top of any meter readings?
