5 minute job at best and I owned (and sold) a Yamaha for years. It too was a 5 minute job. I only sold it because of it's age. Was 12 years old with many hours and like all things electronic, I figured it was getting toward the end of it's trouble free lifespan. Any engine with solid lifters will require a valve adjustment at some time, not just a Champion.
I just did my Kohler K241 cast iron single cylinder on my portable welder and on it you have to basically pull the entire intake side of the engine to do a valve adjustment. Very involved.
