I wanted to see how many hours people have on their Champion Power Equipment generators.I own 2 Champions, a 2000w inverter and a 3500/400 conventional, and they seem to be holding up great.Looking to see who has high hours on theirs and how the reliability has been.

I have a 4000 watt rattletrap Champion, have about 70 hours on it. Absolutely no reliability complaints, whatsoever. Noise, on the other hand is ear-splitting, so when I can, I am going for a 3400 watt dual-fuel inverter model, and relegating the 4000 watt one to emergency duty (as in living in the bed of my pickup.)

On mine, which is 12 years old, I have better than 2000 hours on it. Used it extensively when camping at infield nascar races with the travel trailer. Would run for 60-80 hours during race weekends at MIS and Pocono. Also used for the occasional winter power outages when living in NY. Used less frequently now, as I have Onan in the toyhauler. Although it ran reliably 60 hours straight two months ago during Hurricane Irma for house power. Hadn’t started it in two years, fired right up and ran without issue. Not bad for what some call Chinese junk.

They obviously last a long time and the cost versus longevity ratio is much better than a Honda. I'm happy with that.

170 hrs on my 2 yr old 3100 and 6 hours on the 2000. One Youtube guy said he could tell when the valves needed adjusting. Anyone know what the indications would be?
