How to Eternabond around pipes?

Question

Like the title says, how do you tape around objects like pipes or antenna base?Use a lot of straight overlapping pieces?Cut a radius into the side of pieces of tape?Something more ingenious?

All of the above.  It's a lot easier on the roof because nobody can see it up there :)

The fabric backed Ebond is much easier to deal with when covering curves than the plastic backed.  BUT, you have to paint the UV resistent paint on it.

I would just get as close as I could with the Eternabond, then use lap sealant around the pipe, etc for the small areas that were missed
