HWH Levellers

In cold weather, 32 and below, my front levellers jacks will retract. In warm weather like today at 60, they will not move.
Very weird. The rear jacks work fine. Any thoughts.

No, he has an unusual problem. They extend and retract OK and stay extended as needed. His problem is---IF it is above 32 degrees outside the front jacks will only retract by the weight of the RV and once that happens the springs will not pull them up. If BELOW 32 degrees the jacks retract just fine with the springs. VERY unusual. Doug

you are going to have to either replace the cylinders, or have them rebuilt.
call hwh, and get a rga number to return the cylinders. thats the cheapest way to go. any other thing you do is a temporary fix.

The inner seals are bad. rebuild or replace. Doug

Do they not retract at all or do they come in several ins then stop retracting with maybe 4 ins of the piston visible?

IF jacks retract when opening the manual T handles, but not with the touch pad, replace the 2 solenoids. IF they do NOT retract with the T handles, replace or rebuild both jacks. Doug

I do not have a specific solution to your issue, but perhaps you can glean some advice by viewing HWH trouble shooting manual for your specific model. Click here to view.

Hope this helps and please let us know if you find the solution so we can benefit.

Thanks,

Bill

1. Seals bad
2. Spray jacks with liquid Nitrogen when above 32 degrees:B
3. OPEN the manual T handles on the solenoids(the center 2 control the front jacks) and see if they retract.
4. Your year model probably needs new springs. Doug
