Planning on running two six volt batteries in series. Would this interconnect battery cable be okay?

Unfortunately, the local Sam's only has the 208AH. That being said BP 230AH is the same price (actually less with the discount) so I'll go that route. Thanks for the quick response!

I think Sam's has an Energizer Gold in some stores rated ~230 for about $120.
Website shows the items.

I would definitely go for the added capacity since you will be using them often.

Related question...

I've read many threads saying the Sams/Costco 6v's are capable and fine to use. Costcos in my area (Denver) don't carry them. The Sam's version (Energizer) are rated at 208AH for $84.50. I called Batteries Plus, their Duracell 6v's are rated at 230AH for $120. He said he could do 10% off, so really $108. Is the extra 22AH worth the extra $46?

We are normally boondocking but I do have two red generators for recharging, etc.

Edit: BP also has a 215AH for $100 that I'm assuming I could get 10% off of.

This cable looks top notch and bullet proof. Good to go in all conditions.

You have no large inverter to worry about on that trailer.
Just a normal converter that will charge the batteries just fine.
For fast charging on generator you need to post the converter model number.

Will do...I'll try and swing by there tomorrow to get that info. Thanks for the input!

Do you have a BIG (1000 watt or more) inverter?

IF yes that is a good choice up to about1,000 watts

IF NO,,I'd go with Starter Cable from AutoZone. (Smaller, Lighter, Cheaper)

Hmm, I'm not sure as I just got the TT and it's at the storage lot right now. Assuming you are talking about the built-in inverter not a inverter generator, correct? Sorry, new to all the technical terms.

It's a 2005 Keystone Outback 25RSS if that helps (quick Google search I couldn't find the inverter specs). When needed, I have 2 red 2000's to run the air.

Winnebago used an 8g wire to connect my power distribution center to the batteries. Your 2g wire is ample.

(I upgraded Winnebago's 8g wire to 4g wire to reduce voltage loss.)

When I replaced my pair of group 27 batteries with a pair of 6v golf cart batteries a couple of months ago, the battery shop gave me a 2/0 g wire as a new connector.

Not a bad choice, but price it locally first. Unless you have prime, the shipping will be an issue.
