Interior ceiling light lens removal

I have a 2013 Sandpiper and can't seem to figure out how to get the covers/lenses off the flat recessed ceiling lights. I can pull it down a bit and try to turn the glass while holding the base but it just spins. Is there something I'm missing?

Just pull the light out of ceiling!! Actually the springs are pretty strong, I've found that if you can pull down one side far enough to get a finger in and push the spring toward the light, then pull out one side at a time.

Pull on the lens? or pull the light out of the ceiling?

If they are like this, you need to just pull a little harder.
