Provide the INVERTER or CONVERTER model number and we can check GOOGLE SEARCH to find out what it does for you.

Inverters are neat to have but keep in mind you also have to have a very large battery setup to run them at full power.

A 2000WATT INVERTER will draw 180AMPS DC CURRENT or so when totally loaded down from your battery system. Thats alot of DC Current to manage.

Some motor-homes from that time-frame may have come with an inverter that would only power the outlet the overhead television would use. It would have most likely been an option.

There may be an on/off switch in one of the overhead compartments, or maybe the unit was "on" unless the house-battery "disconnect" was used to take the batteries off line.

You might see if the television will turn on when not plugged into shore-power and batteries connected to the circuit. I would be very surprised if any other 120v,ac, outlets were powered by the inverter since it would discharge standard batteries supplied by manufacturer too quickly if used that way.

It would help if we knew make and model of your 2004 class a?? On most MHs that have a combination inverter/charger there is a remote control unit somewhere near where other indicators and controls are installed. Impossible to give good info without knowledge of what you own as they are all different.

There are many ways an inverter could be wired. You might try seeing if any of the outlets are powered when the MH is not plugged in. However the inverter probably has to be turned on so you would have to find it first. Maybe there is a switch labeled "Inverter". Maybe there are some different colored outlets???

Some Class A MHs have an Converter/Inverter. I don't have one so I don't know much about them.

Hope you find one.

Mine is a combo unit inverter/charger.
Search the web with your model number.
I suspect you have a combo unit too.
