Is there an extended run fuel cap for Champion 3100?

Does anyone know if they make an extended run cap for the champion 3100 inverter? I have an extended run tank but am wondering if there is a cap that would fit the champion?

Are all the gas caps the same? In other words are they universal?

Nothing from Champion. the reason why there is no "cap" like the honda's is that the Champions are gravity fed. there is a company in florida that sells a kit to connect a remote fuel tank. Requires modifications to the genset, but I watched the youtube video, looks like a factory install honestly.

I am not affiliated with them, but I actually just bought my genset with the modifications already installed from them. They suggest using a 6 gallon marine fuel tank.

SuperGen has an extended run system available
it attaches inside the generator, and you can use any external can or tank you want, like marine tank for boat, or regular 5gal can

I've not seen one. Plus, the 3100 is gravity fed, which means that a gas can has to be held above the generator, as opposed to the diaphragm pumps on the Honda eu2000i models which actually suck in the gas.
