Kinro Window latch
Has anyone ever replaced one of these latches on their RV window? The window is made by Kinro which I think was acquired by Lippert Industries. Any info on how to proceed would be appreciated. ht...

I'm not familiar with that particular Bramd so my comments may not help you. That said most of the Window Latches that I have encountered in RV s have been made of Plastic,and are prone to being snapped off when closing .
If this is the case just drill out the usual rivet and replace the latch with a piece of metal that can be drilled and attached with a Nut and Bolt or if You prefer a decent sized Rivet. It doesn't take an expert machinist to see that the Original Plastic part was just something that pivoted into a slot in the window frame. You may not end up with a fancy handle on the latch ,but you will have a latch that keeps the window closed!
