Laying AGMs on their side

I added a AGM battery bank for my residential refer install... two of the four are on their sides.

That's one reason AGMs are used on fighter jets. They work in any position.

Peggy's scooter, a Honda Silverwing 600cc twin, has the battery mounted horizontally with the terminals sticking out sideways. Never has been an issue with it.

2 duracell agms sideways for 3 years. No problem.

Previous DP had a weird battery configuration. I used two AGM mounted on their sides, and wired in parallel for starting batteries. Several years and no issues.

Several devices, UPS units for example.. My "Luggable" jump start pack, all use AGM batteries for just that reason.

Yes, in my Polaris SxS. No issues.
