- ChopperbobExplorerI think for the money and hassle air bags are not the answer. My only concern is the reefer. Parked now to do laundry and have the plastic
Blocks under the front tires. Not a big deal she gets out deploys
Them. I drive up done deal. Air bags are good for a sagging
Issue but I guess they would help. Mine are set at 60 front and
30 rear just to keep air in them.
Bob - Chris_BryantExplorer IIThe trouble is, dumping the air just gets you down to the stock springs- not to the bottom of suspension travel.
- pianotunaNomad IIIHi Chris,
My idea is to dump the air on the driver's side and fill the bags on the passenger's side. If I got two inches down and two inches up that would be mostly enough! - Chris_BryantExplorer III don't think there is near enough travel with the add on air bags - max pressure to empty is probably onle a couple of inches. I would say you need full air to level, so you can dump the air, then raise the lowest spot.
- ChopperbobExplorerI have them on all 4. I have supersprings on the rear also.
My rear is higher so constantly looking for a gentle rise
To stay level. Air bags are worthless. Po installed them.
I use lynxx blocks they are a pain but necessary. - pianotunaNomad IIIHi mena,
You did a better job of searching than I did. Thank you.
Cost is 5 to 6 grand.
I'm hoping I can use air bags instead--as I already have them on the rear. - mena661ExplorerI don't understand why auto levelers would twist your frame. Bigfoot makes levelers for Class C's.

Check the Class C section. This question has been asked there. Here's one: Bigfoot Automatic Leveling Jacks - pianotunaNomad IIIHi,
Nope, I don't want one. I'm now semi full time in my class C and I've spend 17 grand on upgrades. I have no desire for something even larger.
The reason for wanting to level is that I'll be using the RV as my daily driver--and I need to compensate for the road "crown" without doing leveling blocks. - robatthelakeExplorerThe only way that you can level Your rig at present is with a shovel or blocks.
You asked on another post about installing Jacks, which might Twist the Frame!
I suspect that Air Bags would be expensive and not worth the effort,or even very effective .
You have been around this Forum long enough that You have likely reached the point that it is time to upgrade!
There are lots of nice Diesel Pushers with HWH and or Air Leveling!
Come on Don You know You want one!
