Lithium cost keep dropping!

A FYI only, I haven’t checked into Amazon’s LiFePO4 offerings in quite some time, but just saw this today, 100a/h and 10 year warranty for $338 with $50 coupon applied…I have no experience with this particular brand (I have Aims), so I make no claims as to it’s performance, but the Lithium value quotient is becoming something to consider…

the reason they are getting cheeper is more manufactures are moving to prismatic cells which are way faster and less labour to build as your putting 4 cells togeather as aposed to 100 cells. also shipping has been consistantly getting cheeper over the last two years, and third, battle born is extramly overpriced as they were the only name in the game for a while now there trying to make people think because they are expensive they are better but even they have been dropping there prices laitly.

I think it’s mostly due to the value of money going down…:)

If the value of money is going down, the price of an item should be increasing!!!?

Bingo!! Suggesting nowadays, the battery’s relatively low price is ‘the exception’ (competition? market flooding? increased efficiency? over supply?)… In general Econ 101 terms, it’s not so much that the cost of goods and services keeps going UP, it’s that the value of our currency keeps going DOWN (Ugg!) due to the ongoing dilution of a nation’s monetary supply - this process can equate to a stealth form of taxation, thus the rational for (at least a lucky few 🙂 ) COLA adjustments…

no its not, Will (youtuber who loves this stuff) got shafted on a set of batteries that were 30% more, and they were identical

Just to be fair England is experiencing the highest inflation rate in the last 10 years. Canada inflation rate is rampant. Neither country has had an election in the last few years.

Supply and demand is at work. Low supply high demand raises prices and causes inflation.

The price of these batteries is dropping due to competition and technological advances.

Love the advertising:

"Local US Warehouse" that builds my confidence.

"No poisonous lead/harmful sulfuric acid" Let's see, lead acid batteries are extremely easy to recycle, whereas lithium iron phosphate is the opposite.

There is no free lunch.

Enjoy,
