I did a full-0n load test this morning, because I finally got my adjustable carbon pile load tester back. Both a Manganin shunt plus 5-digit voltmeter and a DMM inductive ammeter confirmed the amperage.
Hah! Now I need to force-feed the unit with cooler air. Well, I purchased a variety of Landyacht's recommended fans.
This is not my charger. It's for a friend. It will be mated to a 5500 watt generator on the 30 amp 120 volt receptacle.
I wonder if those thermometers that are used for refrigerators and freezers are dependable enough to use for monitoring? I would need an IP67 model. Waterproof. Thank god this critter is destined to go to the high latitudes...
