Morningstar Flush Mount Solar Controller

Looking around $150 is a decent price. A few shops a bit cheaper, a few more, one was $225.

I blew it,....it is a Blue Skys sun charger 30.
The price at 150 ($170 at Bills) seems to compare to online prices.
I know I could go cheaper, but this has most all of what I want, including LED display, and will sho amp and volts continuously and all in one unit. Has opn batt temp too, but worthless to me.
And yes I am in QZ. There are 2 solar places here,....one is a real rippoff !

I wonder if they were selling the remote display. Kind of pricy as they usually go for $100 but you ARE in the Q.

Makes it hard to fit a switch near the controller on one of its panel-controller wires. Have to disconnect at the panel end.

RJ, a number of the Morningstar controllers can be flush mounted with the operational face exposed and the wire connections beneath the mounting surface.

Is the flush mounting needed for operational safety or a cosmetic application?

Now ya got me wondering what I was looking at.
I was sure it was morningstar but now not sure,
I'll find out today.

Seems to me for that kind of money you would be in the TS series.

I can find that version with the small LED screen but nothing black or flush mount. There is a black flush mount Blue sky.
