My WFCO finally kicked the bucket

The last couple winters I've started covering the trailer, which renders the solar inoperative. I checked in on it, and found the voltage down to 11.8. Considering we've had lows in the single digits, this concerned me a bit.

I purchased a replacement PD 9260 14.8 volt replacement recently but was postponing the installation. Glad I had it on hand!

Everything seems to be hunky dory. I love the new converter, especially the pendant so far. I haven't checked the specific gravity, but the T105 batteries are behaving properly.

if your batteries get low on water (and become undercharged) from being on constant charging, you have problems
When I replaced cheap chargers with quality ones, I no longer had a problem with battery water boiling away.

They both will if conditions are right.

If everything goes according to plan that's correct. But if your batteries get low on water (and become undercharged) from being on constant charging, you have problems, and it's not always fun refilling batteries in freezing weather. At least that's what happened to me.

You simply have to check them.
