New Grey Wolf, freezer working fridge isn't

Just brought home a new grey wolf 19sm, taking it camping for the first time. Have it plugged into the house, battery is fully charged. Turned on the fridge/freezer to prep for packing. Freezer is nice and cold, fridge does not seem to be cooling at all. Checked breaker, not an issue. Please help!!
  • Be sure your are reasonable level, as the refrigerator will not function well off level and will eventually fail. It does take at leats 6 to 8 hours for the refrigerator section to cool down; less time for the freezer section. Do not put anything not already frozen or chilled into the freezer or refrigerator while you are getting it to cool down. That just takes longer.
  • Turns out that I had to turn it off then restart for it to pull power from the electrical instead of the gas. It was set to run on propane and didn’t switch over until it was turned off then back on. Once I did that it cooled relatively quickly (approx 6 hrs). Thanks for the tips!

6-8 Most folks say 24 hours to cool down an absorption unit (THough Mine cools faster it seems)

Just now the fridge is 34 degrees but the ice cream is soft.. I kicked the control up a notch so that may have been fixed on mine.. Normal summer condition.

how long did you wait? takes 6-8 hours for the fridge section to get cold. that's if you have a RV fridge.
you need to post make and model number because RVs come with electric/propane fridges, 12v fridges, residential fridges and 3-way fridges.
you didn't say which one of those you have.
