Put a 30-amp auto-reset breaker inline with the output and it can maintain one battery at float voltage 13.2 - 13.5 volts, up to a 30 amp max.

Gotta get one to rip to shreds and look at it's guts...
  • That looks like LED power supply I was buying from China for $10
Don't see any note it is controlled 12V, so who knows what it delivers?
Have 4 of them working in my new house for over a year. No problems even one is stuff under the deck with all the dirt there.
  • If it starts singing in the key of "Z" I'll back 'er down and use it as another LED power supply. The latest Poop is these things are soon to arrive in an 800 watt form.

As far as fire, after the breaker trips, I'll smother the remains with sand. Yuk, yuk, yuk.

Accumulating wireless AC switches. Turn on the unit then adjust brightness with PWM controllers.

Dimmable red LEDs make great night lights. They do not interfere with sleep and do not shock the optic nerves with white light for sojourns to the baƱo. Connected in conjunction with 12-volt motion detectors, the hot setup to avoid walking into walls and half open doors. Quicksilver was designed with sliding doors with stainless steel bearings and slides. La casita has doors that open oriental style "bass ackwards"

Just to be safe, put the sprinkler on it first in case it catches fire.
  • My Meanwell has never been powered by a generator other than the power company's.

I love it because it can seek and hold the precise voltage I determine is best, for as long as necessary as I determine, something no automatic converter/charger can.

My Agm is retaining its capacity to a astounding degree being cycled hard, often.

Achieving 100% SOC often is Key. This tool can do it each time, every time and I release copious amounts of sulfur laden flatulence in the general direction of any Automatic charging source and its soothing lying green lights and the marketers who wrote the documentation and those who quote it as gospel.

    Thanks, Niner, for the translation.

I appreciated parts of it, and I expect there are other lurkers who will be glad for the rest.
  • For the un initiated... MeanWell is the maker of the power supply unit, and Bourns makes the 500 or 1000 ohm 10 turn screw potentiometer that gets retrofitted for fine tuning the adjustable V out from this power supply unit.

Landy forgot to also mention smearing some Artic silver thermo paste goo on a couple of transistors that mount to the side of the external case for heat dissipation.

All these little touches add up to a fully adjustable manual recharger for people that recharge with a generator while self sufficient dry camping or boondocking, not the power pedestal crowd at RV parks.
  • Cool, experimentation is something I respect.

But thanks to you, in the AC recharging department on my smaller system, I've found my personal Nirvana and it is Spelled MeanWell with some Bourns on the side.
  • Yeronn!

Must first understand oriental mind set...good luck...

I have ------ away more money than that on a mediocre dinner. While you chew your lower lip I may be harnessing ten of these puppies in parallel. Three hundred amps for less than $200
